I would beg to differ on that. I have had A LOT that have come in WITHOUT the "inductive heat" strategy that has failed.

I too have had my share of "diesels" with gas in them, and have found the 6.0Ls to be far less forgiving than the 7.3Ls for this. The couple of 6.0Ls that I've had, HAVE dropped at least an injector or two. It depends on the percentage of dillution I guess. On a 6.4L, this would be an $18,000 accident.

Who filled it up? Who paid for the fuel?

Warranty covers DEFECTIVE components, NOT owner/operator negligence. But it seems like you already knew that, so I'm just restating this for those who are not in the know. Your lucky that the dealer didn't file a CuDL contact that would've cancelled all warranty coverage.

NO and NO.

Quite possibly, yes. You may luck out now if you keep filling it up with a good quality diesel fuel and RELIGIOUSLY use Ford's PM-22-B (PM-22-A for you Americans) and PM-23-B (PM-23-A for you Americans) additives on EVERY fill up.

EVERYTHING that fuel passes through, including the high pressure fuel pump that requires cab removal to access and replace.

What is that additive that you are talking about? I really don't know how they came up with the gas in the diesel thing. I think it was all just a lie. They didn't want to fix it and they wanted me to pay for the towing and everything else. Also, the Nissan salesman field it up. I was standing right there and I know he put diesel in it. They even pulled his reciept and it showed diesel not gas. He used to be one of my welders and has been around diesels all his life. So we know that when it happened (if it ever really did happen), then it was before I even looked at the pickup on Monday morning. Also I think that all the single fuel tank will hold is 32 gals right? Maybe 36 gals? If so then it only could have had 4 gals or less of gas in it anyway. Because we put 2 gals in it to get it to the fuel station and then filled filled it up. I think we put 30 gals in it when we filled it up. I just think that was a bunch of B.S. from the dealership.
