'05 E350 6.0 ambulance no go!!!
our second out ambulance has been acting up. first time it had no go, put 'er on the floor and barely ran. only has 60k so took to ford house and they said they replaced EGR valve, all is well. its doing it again, and only when its cold. warms up and it acts ok. ford house now says that its in "default mode" and that its a 6.0L problem with tranny not letting it shift (only gets up to like 20MPH). They said there is no fix and thousands of them, whole fleets, do this. they said only fix is to start it up every 2 hours or so.
i thinks its BS ESPECIALLY since its never done this until like 2 weeks ago. im thinking EGR related again and they just either dont wanna fix or just flat out dont know what it is. they have given us the run around before, but theyre the only ford house for 50 miles. chief wanted me to try and find something out HELP! |
