I think its done

Hey Im new here and new to diesels.
I replaced my solonoid pack 2 months ago after the truck crapped out in a busy intersection. And now i think im having a whole slew of problems
First my overdrive light keeps blinking.
I took it to my tranny shop and they said that the code says the pcm lost its memory but i just cant see that because the truck has been run everyday untill now with no problems. I checked the fluids and its all good. then when i reset the codes it runs fine till you hit overdrive. And then the light starts flashing and the shifts become jerkey and the truck feels like it has no nuts.
Second the abs light came on and i replaced the sensor on the back axle and that dident fix that.
And third i think i have a Fuel leak Because you can see fuel sometimes on top of the motor but i just cant seem to find the leek
oh did i mention my truck has no nuts
any help would be great otherwise im gunna push it off of a cliff

Sounds like you have some problems. Hook it to a scanner and post on here what the codes are.

And if you are gonna push it off a cliff, Ill take it off your hands.

I realise i might have left out some stuff
the truck is a 97 f350 with e40d 4wd lifted on 35's with a bullydog chip and a 4 inch exhaust
Went to the parts store today
They said there are no codes in there
But i think thats due to their crappy reader
Ill go to the transmission shop
tomorrow and have them pull the codes with their fancy snap-on reader
I dont know though
the truck will run fine when you reset the code until you hid overdrive and then the light goes on again and then i loose power and my shifts suck
ill go see if i can find the codes tomorrow while i drive around and look for a good cliff.

well, if your gonna push it off a cliff, I'll drive up there and take it off your hands too!

I have a '95 F-350 myself and i'm not too sure about the OD light blinking (maybe a solenoid going out in the trans ) but the fuel leak i can point you in the right direction from personal experience last year..... Its most likely the fuel filter housing starting to leak. It's gonna be hard to detect because they start to rust out from the bottom and start leaking onto the motor valley which inturn leaks down the backside of the engine onto the ground.

when mine went out, it hadnt ran for awhile so i decided to change the fuel filter..... well, when i did that, it started pouring diesel on to the ground from the backside of the engine and i took it in and $1500 later the fuel leak was fixed!

but let me know if your gonna find that cliff or not!

Went to the shop got the codes
p1728 Trans Slip Error Converter Clutch Fault
I called a nother shop and they said that its probably not the torque converter its the o/d clutch but that dosent explain low end crappyness
so ill be calling around and looking for rebuild ideas
maby ill go with a standard now
And i still have no idea about why the abs light is going off

The crappy power after it slips could just be that the tranny goes into "limp" mode after the tranny starts slipping. It does that to protect itself and to let you know there is something going on with the tranny.

Go to a different trans shop. From what it sounds like, your trans is done. Sorry to say time for a rebuild/upgrade trans.

ABS light you have two sensors up front. One on each hub. You have a 3rd sensor in the rear on the diff which you replaced already.

Fuel leak most likely is from the fuel filter housing. Usually the O-ring in the water drain valve goes bad and needs to be replaced.

Unless you feel like wasting money for the torque converter. I suggest you do not install a new torque converter. If you do and it gets contaminated by clutch material in the new torque converter. That new torque converter can become damaged and you will be back at the same place you are now.
