They CAN be taken apart..it takes some heat..put them in the oven on a low setting for about 15-20 mins...and pry them apart...BUT...its hard to get them or any lights sealed back up good and the chances of you getting condensation inside is very high once you take them apart.

Yes I totally agree......they recently dropped the prices on the Harley lights, your better off picking up a set of those
