I know where the reflector is....most people paint the OUTSIDE though..tape it off and paint.
They CAN be taken apart..it takes some heat..put them in the oven on a low setting for about 15-20 mins...and pry them apart...BUT...its hard to get them or any lights sealed back up good and the chances of you getting condensation inside is very high once you take them apart.
