I'm no expert but isn't the puking a symptom of something more serious? My 2003 6.0 has the same problem but just adding some coolant only means I'll be puking some more coolant as soon as I tow or drive it a little too hard. It's even starting to puke without towing or driving hard.
I'm deleting my EGR and then I'll pressure test to see if it's bad head gaskets. I suppose I should look at my oil cooler too.
For those that know more than I do... shouldn't we be using the symptoms to locate/fix the cause?
