Clay nice idea using the pump and great photos as well. I think I see a problem with your coolant plumbing and you can generate more heat if you re-plumb the flow. The hottest coolant is the hose coming out of the head. That's where my tee is and that very hot coolant travels through my components. My coolant return is a tee to the hose going to the water pump. If your hottest coolant is tee'd to the hose to water pump you're missing out on a few degrees of free heat because that's the coolant return line.
