Also..as a late note/question. Can't seem to find out just how much boost this things is "supposed" to put out. As for vac/boost guages, would a regular, off the shelf type suffice and where would I connect it to? Also, since this thing doesn't have a built in tach, and it seems there is a lot about keeping the revs within a certian range. Will just about any tach work? or do I need a special one just for diesels? And how would I hook it up? (I know how to connect one to a gas engine, but without a sparkplug and ignition system, not really a clue as to which wire gets connected to what..Thanks.
Gonna go get it back from Allegheny Ford now and take it on a test run...Maybe someone knows a secret mantra that will appease the Great and Mighty Diesel God and this thing will finally and actually be fixed this time!
