I just drove my Toyota Corolla through 12 inches if snow with no issues . I use to drive a 2wd Chebbie for work, and needed chains for it, but it was heavily over loaded in the rear. Your driving a Ford bud, just stomp the go pedal and you'll be good . The interstates are taken care of pretty well here anyway. Are you towing a big load? That's the only reason it might be a good idea to have some rear chains.
