How did this work out for you? I got my jump seat off ebay about a month or so ago and just getting around to installing because my 4th child was born. I removed the armrest but there still is a pin sticking out that supports the armrest. Looks to be part of a bracket that also stick out of the side of the seat. From what others are saying they has to remove the seat cover and cushion and cut the bracket off the frame. I hate to do this because one day I would like to take the jump seat out and go back to the console.
