I have no idea about the unimog axle but to lower it 6" and still maintain ride quaility even with air bags it would have to be IFS or maybe I-beams. There is no way the axle can go up that far considering the frame motor and other components. But like you said if he is willing to go that far the option are limit less. I guess we need to ask what his budget is?
