Very true, but if you are wanting to actually lower a F-450, and at the same time, get "air ride" ride quality, it is already custom at that point. So having a set of spindles machined wouldn't really cost all that much in the scheme of things. The trick would be doing it with a 4x4. Then there is an option even for that, but instead of using a F-350 or Chevy axle, how about an inverted portal axle from a Mercedes UniMog??
