But the upshot is that my friend told me that if I wanted it he would sell it to me he wants a 6.4. its a '97 with 105000 ext cab long bed 6" lift with 37s its the Fontana edition if that means anything. He said $8,000.
Is that worth it? It seems like it would be but what do ya'll think? His dad bought it new so it has been in that family for almost 12 years now.

If it is solid and it should be with that low of miles original owner that you know and trust i would say snap it up. When i go to sell a vehicle it is always snapped up by a friend or aquanintence because of my reputation of meticulous service and the use of synthetics. I just say the price and they plop down the cash without any hagling. Solid well maintained used vehicles are well worth the investment.
