Excellent. We like super remote.
We are talking about installing a second fuel tank if only for the drive across Canada.
I still have a lot of research to due before the summer. However, we usually shoot from the hip when it comes to where we are going to be tomorrow.

I love hiking (and put well over 100mi on my boots every year) but you can't beat the ATV's for really getting back in there, and I can't afford a plane, but that's really the way to go.

We plan on mostly staying in our camper as we have pets and can't leave them for very long. You have got me thinking about buying some ATVs while we are up there though. A plane isn't in our budget either.

We have toyed with the idea of getting some land up there and becoming residents, but I am not very keen on the bitter cold. So, as of yet, we are just going to be summer time tourists. We plan on spending April-Sept exploring the state.
How does your truck handle the cold weather in Alaska? Ours isn't too happy in the warm winter temps of Tennessee.
