just unplug the abs module and your brakes will revert to the old system. I keep mine plugged in for the most part but when I am in the slushy stuff or around ice i unplug it. Hey, when conditions make it hard to stop one needs to maximize his ability to stop not decrease this ability just so he may crash into something in a straight line. The first time this ever happened to me was in the Shasta moutains in a mild storm with ice. i was going 5mph and saw a truck sitting side ways in front of me a good distance away so hit the brakes. The abs kept me straight but i didnt hardy slow down and ended stopping only a couple of feet from the truck when i should have stopped a hundred feet or more away. Scared me
