Thanks man. There is no way to recalibrate the speedos right now other than the dealer which can only do 35s I believe. I just know how much mine is off. Spartan should have it out soon with their programmer and there may be some stand alone devices in the future.
As far as shocks I would go with the Bilsteins or Icons. I've had both and like them both. It's a cheap upgrade for a noticeably improved ride. I have the Icon remote res shocks up front but you would be fine with the standard Bilstein or Icon shock if you don't want to spend the extra coin. If you are buying your lift from a local shop see if the can order the lift in components so you can get a good set of shocks. Most basic kits have crappy shocks. Worse case scenario you can ebay the shocks that come with the kit if you can't break it up. Just make sure you get the size you need for your lift.
I have an 8' door and I fit with probaby 3" to spare. I just have to be careful once it starts snowing and packing on the driveway. You should be ok, just watch it going in the first time.
