I have an F 350 with a ranch hand on the front I have hit five large deer since May with no damage to the bumper or it's powder coating. It will take out a driving light when I make contact but thats it. I have a warn fast pull winch on it that works well. A leveling kit helps, I will probably go through an extra set of ball joints over the life of the truck I figure with the extra weight.
I have first hand knowledge that hitting a deer at 70 MPH and being able to drive away with no damage in a remote area is a good piece of mind.... but that's just me.
My Cummins has a Ranch hand that is line x'd, I like it powder coated better.
