I belive that you will be pleased with what you find. There's anything you want, from SUPER remote (bring extra fuel if you're drivin) to full service.
You can get there with a highway rig, but to really see the state, get a bush plane, ATV or a good pair of boots.
I love hiking (and put well over 100mi on my boots every year) but you can't beat the ATV's for really getting back in there, and I can't afford a plane, but that's really the way to go.
Where are you planning on moving to in the state???
