Turbo Spooling??? don't recall that I've heard it "whistle" (or even hum a tune) Greg at Allegheny Ford mentioned that if the PCM goes of the fritz that it could be the cause of all the probs here. that it controls fuel press, injector timing etc and that it "can" kick back of lot of error codes ie the P1211 code, simply because it itself is malfunctioning. His cost to replace it is around $800.00 parts and labor. If the PCM does in fact control everything, and it starts going south, and giving faulty instructions to various sensors, relays etc. could that be why its losing power, flooding out (ie the massive amounts of black smoke), SES light coming on under load, and just being a gutless wonder with lousey mileage???
