yep, I hear the same thing. A benefit of sulfur was it's ability to cause rubber to swell (and lubrication). I run Stanadyne Perfermance Formula all the time. does not have sulfur (per Fed Law) but it is supposed to "maintain" the fuel system. bottom line, use an additive or you will eventually have problems in older engines. fuel used to be 1000ppm sulfur, last year it was 500ppm, now in 2007 it's 5 ppm!!!! ouch!
