That magazine is wrong. My father owns Amtech and they go to a lot of races where they set up a booth and a test track where the public can drive a truck without the Rollguard and then drive one with it. It is a really big difference. Not only is the ride a bit stiffer the vehicle is stabilized with no side sway at all. If you are looking to soften the ride then this is not the product you want. The springs are thicker then most stock springs. It will also raise most trucks in the rear by about an inch or 2 depending on how you install it.
