Has anyone ever managed to remove the armrest mount from the seat without having the cut off the shaft? I have a center seat coming I got through a barter deal to replace my console, but I need to get the arm rests out of the way. I'd rather not cut anything if I can avoid it in case I ever want to put the console back. The only person I've ever seen do this cut the shafts off that the arm rests bolt to.
