when I first purchased the truck I got pretty good fuel mileage. Seems to me it was about 475-500 miles on 24 gallons of fuel. that did drop to about 15 or 16mpg when I ran winter blend. But back to the injectors... Wouldn't I notice adverse performance w/ bad injectors or just poor fuel mileage? I dont know what my diff is 3:73 sound stock??? I could check it but I would have to say the only change in the vehicle has been the fuel mileage. Not the differential. And as far as feeding people BULL I just wouldn't/couldn't do that. I cant fix a problem that was misdiagnosed in the first place. Now having said that I've heard 18-20 was pretty average for not lead footing in a well kept psd. What is Statadyne and where do I get it? And this air filter I have os impossible to keep clean. I work in a very dusty environment so it seems like I'm cleaning it every third week or so.
So lets just say that 9-11 is all I can expect with my present configuration, is there any mods that JUST improve fuel consumption? Well, thanks for pondering my dillema
