No, i used an old rubber floor mat, cut asmall square then a hole in the middle. I put that between the floor and the spacer thats between floor and frame.I put it on the top of the spacer just under the floor to help isolate noises. But, doing that just pushed the bottom piece down farther, if it moved it at all.Would not of helped me. Grind 1.4inch off the nipple coming thru the frame once the bolt is removed from the top of the floor. tHe bottom mount with the threads will fall off then or be rusted in place? May have to replace? The end coming thru the frame is too long once stuff is worn. A new bottom mount will not help this. Just a small 4 inch grinding disc on an electric machine willdo it. Noises gone... Feel free to ask me if iam not being clear here.. This is a fix for the floor board noises a lot of us have.
