Good day everyone, I'm hoping for some assist please. As some know, my rig was in a hard hit. Trans cooler destroyed. I'm looking for official Ford or other documentation for what process and procedures are required in this type condition. I've read that we should not reuse or use a used trans oil cooler to prevent particulate damage. I need this info to assist getting a new trans from insurance. Turns out shop that had truck left lines open for about 2 months. To include pressure washing before replacement of unit. No records of hose replacement or trans being flushed. But shop did send truck to another shop for trans slippage. That shop just added 3qts, and said it's good. Now I will have to fight some do to internal particulate contamination and mechanical failure.

Your great assistance in locating official documentation is greatly appreciated. Like mandatory flush and or line replacement, etc.
