You can stand up an look at our economy and be proud it is taking a dive?
You can stand up and say I am proud the dollar is worth less and less every day?
You can stand up and say Im proud most of my fellow Americans would rather have some one tell them how they have to be then to be able to make their own decisions?
Im am afraid for all of us. I am afraid the direction my beloved country is going. This isnt the country my relatives fought to protect and build.
Im not proud that my blood has been spilled so "Americans" can bash everything that blood has stood for.
There is a lot of things to be proud about and then there is a lot to be disapointed in. Right now I am disapointed in this country.
Im still a proud Texan. Screw the rest of ya.

Amen.
I flew my flag upside down the day after the election to show we were under distress.
I can say i am a proud American because i voted for an American Hero who has served this country longer in a POW camp then Hussein has in the senate. the ones who voted for Hussein can call themselves proud citizens of the Peoples Republic of Obama. Thats were this country is headed!
