Anyway, Like I said in the first sentence I have been away for a while but what do you guys think, I was looking at a 6.4l that was wrecked and thinking. Would it be worth it to through a 6.4 in my 03 and replace the 7.3 or spend that money in the proven tach behind the 7.3? I have a 6.4 at work 450 and I love the way this thing pulls out of the gate and keeps going, My 7.3 is almost payed off this is why I dont wanna just buy a new truck, Plus I would be able to utilize the 03 to make the 6.4 as powerful as possible and have no emissions

Have you looked closely @ how a 6.4l is configured in the new PSDs? I'll probably be corrected, but it looks like it won't be an easy(or practical) swap if it's possible. The cooler(s) swap alone looks like a project & a half. Then you'll have to go through the computer swap, wiring swap, & fit the DPF exhaust system(unless you decide a DPF delete or stacks). Honestly: you can have a lot more fun with your 7.3l than you could with a 6.4. The problems you'd have with a 7.3 are easily tracable, & cheaper(in most cases) to repair. All PSDs, whether a 7.3, 6.0, or 6.4 have their fair share of problems...but in my opinion, the 6.4s are too new & besides the problems they're having here-&-there, I'm sure there are more 'unknowns' that're on the way.
