It's pretty loud. I have duals and love them. Everybody always tells me they can tell I'm in my truck when I'm talkin to them on the phone. I can't tell you how many times I've heard over the phone, "Dude your truck is loud". I also have the cutout thing I got from raul through another member but haven't installed it yet. The part that I don't like is the soot I get on everything I tow when it rains. I had a white camper and it was a nightmare to clean all of that soot off. When I install the cutout I won't have that problem anymore.
