OK -- I just got back from NAPA to have the codes read. On the way there I tried the "Stock" position of the chip and it ran terribly -- unless I forget how underpowered stock is compared to 80 HP Econ. It actually seemed to get better in stock the longer I kept it there (maybe wishful thinking?). The guy plugged in the reader and the Service Engine Soon light went off. (He might have selected "Clear all COdes" but he said that he didn't. ANyway drove 3 miles back home and the light didn't come back on. Is it cured?
