So if you buy a car with a warranty, drive it a few thousand miles, and the engine blows. The engine covered under warranty. They don't give you the purchase price amount back and they keep the car. They fix it, and if you want to trade it in, you're gonna take a hit. Even if they did give you any money back, it would be a depreciated amount (like 50% what you payed maybe) because it is not the same exact condition as when it left their premises..
