Well I FINALLY got it fired up this morning.
Took a few cranks but it went after having the charger on the battery all night (plus some help from the jump setting when I was starting it).
I definitely don't want to go through this again!
So what would be the problem thats throwing off the gauge?
Thanks everyone for your ideas/input! This is my only transportation (other than my street legal dirt bike) so I was really starting to stress!
