When I drained my fuel bowl to change the filter and replaced the spin on filter on the rail, i turned the key in and waited for the pump to cycle off (maybe 30 seconds) I did this with the drain open till fuel started to flow to the jug on the ground. then closed the valve and cycled the key a few more times till i stopped hearing bubbles in the tank from the return
