I posted the same problem with mine about 4 months ago. Mark replied that as long as the engine oil temp did not go more than about 25 degrees over the coolant temp there should be no problem. My coolant temp would get up to around 210-215 when my engine oil was at 225 - 227. So I reset the alarm chime on the PDA to go off at 235. So far it's never gotten any higher than 227.
While we're on the subject of Banks...I am having a problem occasionally in shifting. I have the automatic and 1 or 2 times a week the 2 to 3 shift is very erratic. It's almost like it pops into neutral for just a split second before it finishes the shift. I asked the dealer but they could not duplicate it and said there were no codes so come back when it does it again. Has anyone else experienced this?
