So towing the toyhauler this weekend and my oil temp hit 227, tranny got up to 180 and the coolant temp got to 220ish. Got home and it looks like the coolant res. overflowed. I had the 6gun in level 3 as to not get the EGTs too high. Any clues on what happened inside my truck? Now theres coolant residue all over that corner of the engine compartment. What gives?
Ive heard talk that the markings for the levels are wrong and that the cold low mark relly is where the hot max should be? Any clues or ideas would help.
