I got my latest truck back in June of this year. Every once in a while when I was locking with the keyless entry my truck would try and turn over. I had no idea what would cause the truck to try and turn over when I had the key in my hand and wasn't even in the truck! My buddy was convinced the truck was haunted or something!

Also every now and then (like 1 time out of 10) she'd randomly cut off within 1-3 minutes of driving (after warming up properly).
It took about a month but I figured it out (with the help of some buddies) that my truck had a remote start installed on it and the trigger was hitting the lock button on the keyless entry 4 times. I never even knew you could do a remote start on a diesel. But it never actually starts, it just turns over once and that's it. I'm guessing that the remote start doesn't continue long enough for the diesel motor to catch and fire up. I'm also guessing that my shutting off problem is also due to the remote start. Should I just remove the remote start completely or is there some way I can adjust it to run longer.. and why would it cut my truck off?
Any suggestions?
