So one thing that particularly bugs me about the 6.4...they put alot of emissions control equipment into it.
These things are pulling 13 MPG stock. So you're putting double fuel into it to go half as far. Seems to me that's about the same as if they didn't put any of the emissions junk into these trucks. Such a waste of time, money and engineering IMO.
My boss just got one and well, let's just say "disappointed" is an understatement for how he feels about mileage on his 6-4. I said he should straight-pipe it and watch the MPG's rise nicely.
If money wasn't a concern I would buy a 6.4 (and straight pipe it) in a heartbeat.
BUT then again...man I love my seven-three!!!
