The superduties have a very robust cooling system and to run on the cool side is totally normal. Mne has never reached halfway and that was towing heavy up the mountain in 100 degree weather.

203 T-stat brought my water temps up about 10 degrees from the old 195. IH spec's a 203 stat, but it doesnt fit the SD water pump so we get a Ford spec 195 due to Nox emmisions.

For a stock injectored, stock oiled truck, the 203 is the ticket. But once you step up to the next level, stick with the stock 195.
