big oil by itself will not shorten engine life appreciably. running nitrous will. running pane will. running 500 plus horsepower will.
big oil is a step in the evolution. if you make the step, and a big step it is, you are on the road to big horspower.
big horsepower in ANY engine will shorten life expectancy.
