How to tell if the TC is slipping?
Hook to a heavy trailer, that is one sure way!! lol!!
It is usually easier to tell with a load on the truck, unless it is slipping bad, but when the TC is locked the rpm's will rise equal to the speedometer, if the rpm's raise up faster it means the TC is slipping and should be building some heat on the trans temp gauge!!
