I missed talking with the rebuilder this afternoon. I got busy and forgot to call. They do have the truck, but don't know if he has torn it down yet. He promised to call before he ordered parts and I told him I wanted the specifics. He has determined from talking with me that he will install a heavy billet torque converter. I think it will be a
Precision Stallion 3 Clutch Powerstroke Torque Converter. When I looked it up on their site I ran into a link to BTS so hopefully it is a good one! At least some of the parts will be Sonnax (shift kit?) according to him. I will get all of the particulars tomorrow. I told him I wanted to know exactly what was in there so I could pass the info along to Tony Wildman for a possible reburn. Does anyone know if this will be necessary when his rebuild increases line pressures? Probably don't want both, right? Chuck mentioned this to me earlier.
