6.0 to 7.3 swap
Just wondering what it would take to swap a 7.3 in the place of a 6.0. I found a nice 2003 f250 with a blown motor, and wouldn't really want to rebuild it when I can get a 7.3 for cheaper, I would rather have a 7.3 anyways. So my question is how different is the wiring harness? Would the tranny from the 6.0 work on the 7.3? Different pcm for sure. What other problems would I run into? Just seeing if it would be worth it or should I just get a 6.0 out of a newer truck, throw head studs in it and go? thanks
