I kinda always thought auto was faster. As for traction I would assume we were pretty equal, same tires good pavement, but it was just on the street so who knows. I've always wondered about my trans, the guy I bought it from said it was "built up" but who knows what that means. Wouldn't there be other indications that I might notice if my TC was slipping? I really don't know. I have never had problems with an auto trans to use as a reference?
