Just seeing what you guys think or have seen. I would think an auto would be faster than a manual, due to having to shift the manual. The reason I ask is my friend and I have basically the same truck, both early 99's, his is manual mine is auto. Pretty much same mods, he actually has a hypermax chip and I have custom tunes. So I figured with my auto and custom tunes I would beat him, but from a roll he pulls away from me, and from a stop not launching I barely get ahead of him and he begins to pull on me. I guess I have more power loss through the auto than he does through the manual. Kinda wondering also because he bought his truck with everything and doesn't know if it maybe has other stuff done to it. So what do you guys think?
