aftermarket Intercooler?
And the cute little black car... I had one of those, actually... Yeah- It had gotten stuck in one of my fenderwells
Nah, seriously, I doubt a little front mount intercooler would be of any use on a turbo diesel. Those cores are air to air, and most are less than 30x8x3. I think the stock IC's for these diesels are something like 30x30
I'll have to see what I can do, as vans are so limited on space. but I'm sure I can shoehorn something effective in there. I'll bet he plumbing will sure be interesting!
The stock Duramax IC looks like a fairly decent option as it has metal end tanks -vs- the plastic found on stock Fords.
Besides being NON intercooled, are there any other significant differences to be aware of concerning the Powerstrokes in Superduty vans?
Also, can anyone direct me to any sites where I can learn more of the differences between the various years and applications of the Powerstroke?
-There is evidently some changes made between "early" and "late" 1999's, and I see what appears to be a major change in 2003 as well. However, as far as what changes occur, and at what year for the Econolines... -I'm just not finding much
Thanks
