Everything is because of the freaking libs although the conservatives control the govt. 3 out of 4 voices in my head say BS. Ford says it would cost them $350 million to tool up for this to produce it on this side of the pond AND, let me underscore that
AND, Ford is convinced that Americans won't buy a small car with a diesel.
As usual Ford has its head so far up its a$$ that it won't be until after the Japanese bring in the diesels they are working on currently and wrap up the market that Ford will decide to build one here, being 5 years late to market.
They also sell a diesel powered Focus that they should be selling here. But hey, they're going outside the box and going to build a hybrid. That's where its at lol.
If you gave Ford $5 Billion dollars and led them by the hand they still couldn't buy a clue.
