I got it fixed, and it turned out to be the same thing on my lawnmower also. (they both use the same honda 160cc motor). If you remove the screw in the top of the carb body you gain access to the primary air jet passages. I ran a thin strand of copper wire through it, and sprayed it out real good with cleaner. Reassembled and now the mower and generator work like new again. I also started the habit of adding Stabilizer to all of my gas cans now so I can keep more fuel on hand. Especially after this hurricane season. Thanks for all of the input guys.
