My truck goes to a competing Ford dealer for warrant issues, like EGR replacement, throttle plate sensor, and the recalls. I actually bought my truck through a company that owns both a Chevy and Ford dealer. Best friend works at the Chevy dealer. Ordered though the Chevy dealer, the Ford fleet department is located there. The person doing the delivery prep didn't know how to install the AIC. Went to the Ford service manager after the salesman told me to go there and have it installed. The service manager told me I would need to leave my truck for 2 days to have it installed. I told me that the SD has a boxed frame. Man this convinced me he was an idiot, not knowing what frame is under the truck. Went o the Chevy dealer, and talked to the salesman about installing the AIC myself if that would mess up the warranty. He said no. I asked to borrow tools and installed the AIC in their parking lot while they watched. Keith
