Napa has always been good to me on bearings, either USA, Japanese or German bearings. I'll get some.
So far as the pinion staying in place and not being shimmed, that's pretty much the case with all carrier R&R's? At least while using the old ring/pinion? I just don't want to get caught with my pants down if I don't order the shim kit, ya know?
