I don't mind the shift between low and 1st, I found you can shift that pretty quick once you get the feeling. The ratio between 2nd gear and 3rd gear is my biggest issue if I'm trying to keep my shifts below 2000 with a trailer on. I just wind out 2nd gear a little higher so I have enough rev's in 3rd gear to bring the boost up quick.
