Well the glow plugs fixed it halfway. Now it is cranking and cranking and then fires up pouring out whitesmoke that you can clearly smell as diesel. Doesn't matter can be 80-100 degrees out and still have this problem. Truck will crank and crank for about 30-45 seconds and then it fires up runs real rough and blows whitesmoke. Then it will idle smooth but runs like crap until normal operating temp. Then it runs great, you can hear the miss but once the engine is at normal op temp the miss goes away and truck runs great. Being it is coming to winter time and hunting season is a month away I am getting this fixed. As I do not have the diagnostic equipment to run the tests needed to diagnose the problem so I can fix it.
Basically I am paying 100 dollars tomorrow so I can be told what is wrong with my truck. Then if it comes out to be something like the glow plug control module, or idm, or something of that nature then I will have the problem repaired at the dealer.
But if it is injector/s that are bad then I will do the repair myself and upgrade to stage 1s.
